h. The submissions must fall within the social forum guidelines; we respect artistic expression

i. Sara – gotten a few emails forwarded to her, some people interested in doing exhibits

No room for group exhibits; one piece per person can be featured because we have a small gallery space. Can we do guerilla exhibitions? If they want to do larger pieces, they have to connect with some of the larger galleries, but it wouldn’t be a USSF project. It would fall under a self-organized piece.

k. Cultural Submission Process

i. Come in broken down into categories; the subcommittees in culture receive the forms. The art must be demonstrated in some form.

1. Not everyone is on committees yet.

2. The committees

The committee gets it then it gets reviewed and submits the recommendation (selects it)

The committee then meets to schedule the performances

Submission cut off is March 20 – will need to discuss if the deadline will be aligned with the Program Committee or should it be pushed back a little bit because the information didn’t get posted early enough.
